Following an early morning breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a guided morning tour of the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Square, using your "Skip the Line" tickets. Discover the Galleries of Tapestries and Maps and Raphael’s Rooms before entering the Sistine Chapel, home to Michelangelo’s celebrated frescoes. Your visit concludes in St. Peter’s Square, where you can admire the impressive exterior of St. Peter’s Basilica.

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at leisure to continue your exploration of Rome. Take the opportunity to discover neighborhoods such as Trastevere or Monti, wander through the city’s charming streets or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the Eternal City. Optional excursion ($) to Pompeii:

Depart from your hotel and journey to Pompeii, one of Italy’s most fascinating archaeological sites. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and step back in time as you explore the preserved ruins of this ancient Roman city. Your visit includes skip-the-line entrance tickets and headsets for a comfortable and informative experience. After the guided tour, you will be transferred back to Rome, where the excursion ends at a designated meeting point in the city. Return to your hotel at your convenience.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will be transferred to Rome airport for your flight to Palermo, Sicily’s lively capital.

Upon arrival in Palermo, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. In the late afternoon, you will meet your Tour Leader at the hotel for a welcome briefing. Then you will enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel and overnight in Palermo. (Breakfast-Dinner)

After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for Monreale, renowned for its Norman heritage. Visit the Cathedral of Monreale, where you can admire its striking architecture and richly decorated mosaics. After the visit, enjoy some free time to browse local shops and pick up souvenirs.

Return to Palermo for a guided walking tour through the historic centre. As you explore its lively streets, discover the city’s 3,000-year history and the multicultural influences that have shaped it over the centuries, including a visit to Palermo Cathedral. Enjoy some free time in the late afternoon before dinner and overnight at the hotel in Palermo. (Breakfast-Dinner)

After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for Erice, a medieval village perched on Monte San Giuliano. Stroll through its narrow streets and discover the timeless character of this historic hilltop town. Continue to Marsala whose lands are known for its Marsala wine. You will take part in a sensorial experience, you will visit a traditional wine cellar and taste regional wine and products during a light but unforgettable lunch.

Your journey continues to Agrigento for a guided visit of the UNESCO-listed Valley of the Temples. Walk among its ancient Greek ruins and discover landmarks such as the Temple of Concordia, Temple of Hercules and Temple of Olympian Zeus. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Agrigento. Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will travel to Ragusa, where you will visit the enchanting historical center “Ibla”, with its stunning baroque palaces and churches. Ragusa, along with the seven other towns of the Valley of Noto, is listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Visit the old gate of San Giorgio, the Ibei Gardens, and then walk to Pola Square where we will visit a little gem: the church of San Giuseppe. Be enchanted by the elegant Cathedral of San Giorgio, the Church of the Souls in Purgatory, and the magnificent Cosentini Palace, one of the most interesting Late Baroque palaces in Sicily. After breakfast at your hotel, direction Noto, a picturesque fishing town popular for its stately Baroque architecture. Visit the Cathedral of San Nicolò and walking tour of the town. After the visit, cross one of the city’s bridges for a visit to the island of Ortygia - the most ancient part of Syracuse - home to a wealth of Baroque churches and medieval palaces. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at your hotel in Taormina. Dinner and overnight in Taormina. (Breakfast-Dinner)

Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will head to the foot of Mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe. Learn about volcanic activity and marvel at the old lava fields and black magma rock that comprises Etna’s landscape. If the weather permits, you can opt to climb ($) to the summit (1800 m). Return to Taormina in the afternoon (lunch not included), the beautiful and romantic town located on Mount Tauro, to have the rest of your afternoon at leisure.
